Sustainability news is disappearing. We built P x BC News to change that.

The problem we refuse to accept
Global news coverage of climate change declined for the fourth straight year in 2025, dropping 14 percent from 2024 and 38 percent from its 2021 peak. Over the same period, emissions hit record highs and the world lived through its three hottest years on record.
Think about that gap for a moment. The story is getting bigger. The coverage is getting smaller.
When sustainability stories vanish from front pages, they vanish from boardroom agendas, from policy debates, and from dinner table conversations. What does not get covered does not get acted on.
Our answer: the Planet x Business Collective
P x BC News is a daily feed with one job: keep sustainability news in front of people. Every day we gather stories from more than 30 trusted global sources across nine categories: climate innovation, education, breaking news, business and ESG, lifestyle and culture, global development, inequality and social justice, and world events.
We are deliberate about three things.
Sustainability leads. General world news has a place in the feed, but climate, social, and development stories always come first. That is the entire point.
People, not just the planet. Climate, inequality, and development are one intertwined story. A feed that covers carbon but ignores justice is only telling half of it.
Credit where it belongs. Every story links prominently to the original publisher. We write our own short summaries and send readers to the journalists doing the work. Aggregation should grow the audience for climate journalism, never replace it.
Who we are
The Planet x Business Collective is built by Casuarina Consulting, a sustainability and ESG strategy practice with Caribbean roots and a global perspective. We advise organisations on sustainability strategy, and we kept hearing the same thing: decision makers want to act, but the signal keeps getting buried.
So we built the feed we wished existed, and we made it free.
Our mission, in a sentence
Sustainability news that refuses to disappear: one daily feed where the stories shaping our planet and our societies stay front and centre, always credited, always linked, built for people who intend to act on what they read.
If that resonates, read the feed daily, share the stories that move you, and when you are ready to turn reading into action, take on a challenge at Challenge Tre3 or work with us.
The news kept shrinking. We decided to grow it back.
Sustainability news that refuses to disappear.
